COVID-19 Update
In light of the Federal Government’s recent announcements regarding public mass gatherings, The Market for the time being will continue to operate.
We have been monitoring the situation very closely and will provide updates as they become available. We are mindful that the Federal and State Government’s stance on public mass gatherings can alter at any time.
The Market will be putting into place a number of preventative and precautionary measures.
A number of Hand Wash Stations will be set up around the Market with antibacterial liquid soap, paper towels, hand sanitiser and appropriate bins to dispose of used paper towels. Tissues, disposable gloves and hand sanitiser will also be available at the Market Management stall for our customers use.
We please ask that customers practice good hygiene by not handling produce they do not wish to purchase and follow the social distancing rule (1.5m distance).
We also please ask that customers who are feeling unwell not attend the Market.
A number of signs will be placed around the Market reminding everyone to follow the hygiene guidelines as set out by the health authorities.
‘Keep cups’ will no longer be an option and food samples/testers will no longer be available.
